Here is a tutorial explaining how to create a cookie based Youtube like voting system using jQuery, PHP and MySQL. It's useful to allow users to vote for a page containing an article, a video, a photo, or any other media. It's a voting system similar to YouTube, with a like and dislike button, which can be applied to any content.

In this tutorial you will learn how to build a dynamic article voting system using jQuery, PHP and MySQL. This is the kind of voting system used by Stack Overflow website. You can vote one time per day for each article. A cookie prevents you to vote multiple times. In the demo the cookie will expire after one day, and then you can vote again.
