This new script called “jQuery UI Price Slider With Database Insertion” will show you the way to save a form in a MySQL database without page refreshment. The form includes only the price field which is a jQuery price slider based on the famous jQuery UI Slider Widget, but you can easily add more fields in it such as a title field or description field.
To explain the tutorial I consider my page to be an article page, with the ID 5, of an e-commerce website. You may use this script for any numeric value slider, for example if you want to ask your subscribers how many kilometers around their city they accept to drive etc…
